Statutory Notification (SRO) of Recruitment Rules (2014) of Accounts Cadre in PMAD
Govt. of Pakistan, Ministry of Defence Notification/SRO No. 31(I)/2014 dated 10th-January-2014
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule(2) of Rule-3 of the Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules 1973 and Section 7(1) (b) (i) and (ii) of FPSC Ordinance, 1977 (XLV of 1977), the following method, qualifications and other conditions are laid down for appointment to the under mentioned posts in Pakistan Military Accounts Department, Ministry of Defence, Rawalpindi:-
- Accounts Officers BPS-18
- Assistant Accounts Officers BPS-17
- Senior Auditor BPS-16
METHODS OF APPOINTMENT
The methods of appointment to the posts shall be as under:-
- Accounts Officers (BPS-18) 100% by Promotion
- Assistant Accounts Officers (BPS-17) 100% by Promotion
- Senior Auditor (BPS-16) 30% by Promotion 70% by Initial Appointment
CONDITIONS FOR PROMOTION
- Promotion of Senior Auditors (SA) BPS-16 to Asstt: Accounts Officer (AAO) BPS-17 with qualification of APE/SAS/PIPFA (Public Section) Exam = 67% (Ratio 1:2)
- 33% Senior Auditors (unqualified) would be considered for promotion as AAO BPS-17 on Seniority Cum Fitness Basis (Ratio 1:2)
- Junior Auditor (BPS-11) to Senior Auditor (BPS-16) 10% Graudate in Commerce with 3-year service & 20% Graduate with 5-year service as Junior Auditor
