Based on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee in the light of FST’s Judgment and a precedent case of AGP, the competent authority i.e. Secretary Defence has been pleased to approve the antedate promotion / promotion of 22x officials , mentioned in Annexure A, B & C to this letter as Assistant Accounts Officers (BS-17) in an officiating capacity till further orders.
The Promotion of these officials will take effect from the date shown against their names with all consequential benefits. The newly promoted AAOs (as per Annexure B&C) will remain on probation for a period of one year commencing from the date of issue of your office order notifying the casualty.
