As per office memorandum, In pursuance of the judgment of Honourable Lahore High Court, dated 24-05-2011 in the Writ Petition 21651/2010, upheld by Supreme Court of Pakistan Vide order dated 22-04-2016 in Civil Review Petition No. 82/2016, Establishment Division agrees to the up-gradation of the post of Inland Revenue Audit Officer (IRAO) from BS-16 to BS-18 in Inland Revenue Department under Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) subject to the concurrence of Finance Division, framing of Recruitment Rules and filling up the upgraded posts in the manner prescribed in this Division’s D.O. letter dated 31-12-2008.
