The appeals have been filed against final seniority list of Steno-typists and Stenographers circulated by the department vide letter dated 12-08-2015. The appellants filed departmental appeals dated 09-09-2015 against the seniority lists which are still pending with the respodents. We are inclined to direct the respondents to decide the pendiging departmental appeals of the appellants within a period of one month positively in the light of policy contained in para-6 (b) of Serila No. 33 of Chapter-3 (Page 410-411) of Estacode 2007. Transfers, Posting and Deputations, which is to the following effect:-
“(b) When a person is compulsorily transferred to another office as a result of conscription, or alongwith post and his work, he should be allowed to count his previous continuous service in the grade towards seniority in the that grade in the new office”.
