Departmental Promotion Committee in its meeting held on 16/01/2017 has recommended re-categorization of CO/DCO (B-16) to Senior Auditor (B-16) and DEO (B-12) to JA (B-11) enlisted in Annexure-A and B in officiating capacity with immediate effect and until further order.

Before, issuance of notification it may please be ensured that individuals mentioned in Annexure-A & B process the requisite academic qualification/equivalent of the post of SA (B-16) and JA (B-11) as prescribed in Revised Recruitment Rules vide SRO No. 31(I)/2004 dated 10/01/2014. It may further be ensured that all of them are borne on the effective strength of your office on the date of notification. Individuals who were on deputation on the date of re categorization will be not be notified till their repatriation / reversion to parent department. Similarly, those individuals who had been removed / retired / dismissed / suspended or resigned from service before the date of DPC will not be re-categorized.

2. The official concerned will never claim any right of seniority / promotion in their present cadre (CO/DCO & DEO) and will be placed in the bottom of seniority list of Senior Auditor (B-16) and Junior Auditor (B-11) as on 16/01/2017, undertaking / acceptance in this regards may be obtained from the individuals and sent to this office for our record and necessary action. Further they may be asked to give undertaking that they will also perform the duties of CO / DCO and DEO as and when required.
3. CO/DCO and DEO who have been re-categorized as Senior Auditor and Junior Auditor will remain on probation for a period of one year (commencing from the date of issuance of office orders by controller concerned) and a report regarding their fitness or otherwise for retention in the same cadre will be submitted to this office on expiry of probation period.
