In pursuance of the directions of Hon’able Supreme Court of Pakistan passed on 30-12-2021 in Civil Appeal No. 62-K of 2021 arising out of Civil Petition No. 407-K of 2019 all government (federal and provincial) entities, including statutory, semi-government and autonomous organizations are required to ensure forthwith that wherever in the official documents the words “competent authority” is to be used, the designation and name of the authority be also indicated to prevent misuse by persons legally unauthorized to exercise the powers vested in the authority and to ensure that the person in which authority is vested remains accountable.
تمام سرکاری (وفاقی اور صوبائی) اداروں بشمول قانونی، نیم سرکاری اور خودمختار اداروں پر لازم ہے کہ وہ فوری طور پر اس بات کو یقینی بنائیں کہ جہاں بھی سرکاری دستاویزات میں “مجاز اتھارٹی” کے الفاظ استعمال کیے جائیں، وہاں اتھارٹی کا عہدہ اور نام بھی درج کیا جائے۔ اتھارٹی میں دیے گئے اختیارات کو استعمال کرنے کے لیے قانونی طور پر غیر مجاز افراد کے غلط استعمال کو روکنے کے لیے اور اس بات کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے کہ جس شخص کے پاس اختیار ہے وہ جوابدہ رہے۔
