In order to ensure implementation of orders of Supreme Court of Pakistan on payment of pension of all existing and new pensioners by all banks through DCS mode , we urge all existing pensioners(who haven’t converted to DCS) to cooperate with our office by conversion to Direct Credit System.

“Get your pension directly deposited in your bank.” Valued Pensioner:
You can now receive your monthly pension directed in your account maintained in any scheduled bank including National Saving Centre. You simply need to send us the option form attested by the bank of your choice. By opting for this system, your monthly Pension will be automatically credited to your bank account on the first of every month, without sending any bills.

Pakistan Military Accounts Department (PMAD) is an attached Department of Ministry of Defence mainly responsible for making payments to the Armed Forces, maintaining accounts thereof and rendering financial advice to defence authorities. It also has a well established internal audit mechanism in the form of Local Audit offices functioning under the Controller of Local Audit (Defence Services).

Restoration of Commuted Portion of Pension
The undersigned is directed to state that according to para 16(e) of the Finance Division's O.M. No. 1(5)-Imp/2001 dated 4th September, 2001 the benefit of restoration of surrendered portion of pension in lieu of commutation/gratuity was withdrawn.
