MIAN SHAKIRULLAH JAN, Judge: Learned counsel for the petitioners contends, inter-alia, that the petitioners were entitled to promotion earlier than the date from which they were promoted and they were wrongly not considered for promotion at the relevant time though vacancies were available.
2. Points raised need consideration, therefore, "leave to appeal is granted" in all the petitions. Being a service matter, let the appeals be heard on the available record within a period of 3 months.

No.8/1/D-7(MAG)/2008/1881---- In pursuance of Establishment Division O.M. No. 08/133/2008-R-I dated 6th January, 2010 and Finance Division O.M. No.F.1(3)-R-I/2008-228 dated 17th June 2010, the Government of Pakistan, sequent to the Federal Services Tribunal (FST) Islamabad's judgment dated
18-09-2004 read with FST's Judgment dated 11-09-2002, has been pleased to up-grade and
re-designate the following posts alongwith their incumbents in the Pakistan Military Accounts Department (PMAD); in terms of authority vested with it vide Schedule-3 Serial No. 15 Rules of Business 1973: w.e.f 17th June 2010,
subject to amendment in the recruitment rules.

The MAG has been pleased to approve the promotion, on Seniority cum fitness basis, on the recommendations of the DPC held on 9th April, 2010 of KPOs (B-10) enlisted in affiliated Annexure "A" as Data Coder (B-12) in an officiating capacity, until the date of issuuance of this letter or from the date of assumption of charge in their new office of posting, which ever is later.
The KPOs (B-10) who have been promoted as Data Coder (B-12) will remain on probation for a period of one year (commencing from the date of issue of your office order) and a report regarding their fitness or otherwise for retention in that grade will be submitted to this office on expiry of the above period.
