Lahore High Court Multan Bench issued the order in WP No. 10992/2017 case of Mr. Muhammad Tahir (Repatriate from AG-Punjab) Vs Federation of Pakistan LHC order dated: 10-08-2017
Before Mr. Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti, Lahore High Court Multan Bench – as per order “On last date of hearing viz 09-08-2017 learned Law Officer was directed to establish contact with respondent No. 3 to obtain instructions from respondents qua redressal of grievance of petitioners who have been repatriated without any legal justification inasmuch as in presence of absorption order passed by the Department on 08-04-2016, learned Law Officer submits that he tried his best to establish contact with respondents but none has responded. In this eventuality, this Court has no option except to suspend operation of impugned order. Respondents are directed to file report and para-wise comments so as to reach this Court within a fortnight”.
