Lahore High Court (LHC) issued the judgment in the case of Mrs Rehana Kausar and Others Vs Wapda in WP No. 28063/2011
This petition is allowed and the respondents are directed to extend the benefit of Special Wapda Allowance to the petitioners in the above terms. Arrears towards special allowance in terms of this order shall be paid to the petitioners within a period of 90 days.

Board of Director FESCO in its 140th meeting held on 15-07-2015 reconsidered and approved the up-gradation of Computer Operator / Supervisors (DE/DC) from BPS-16 to BPS-17.
2. In order to convene the Board of finalization of Up-gradation case of Computer Operator/Supervisors (DE/DC) from BPS-16 to BPS-17, there requires completion of particulars of official who are eligible for up-gradation and fulfill all the pre-requisites.
3. It is therefore, requested that particulars of Computer Operators / Supervisors (DE/DC) may be compled so that up-gradation Board be held at the earliest.

The grant of Honoraria/reward as approved/notified vide office order under reference @1/2 basic pay to be paid on the eve of Eid ul Fitr, may be disbursed on 7th July 2015 at the pay level of eligible employees as on 30th June 2015. Other contents of the office order will remain unchanged.

Last Hearing 03/12/2014 Lahore High Court Lahore Bench issued the judgment in
WP No. 22746/2012 Case filed by Mr. Muhammad Aslam Versus DG Audit Wapda etc
Judgment:: After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to refer a copy of this petition alongwith its annexures to respondent No. 1 (DG Audit, WAPDA) who shall treat it as a representation and decide the same strictly in accordance with law, through a reasoned order, after hearing all necessary parties within a period of 06 weeks from the receipt of a certified copy of this order. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of.

EID BONUS FOR ALL WAPDA EMPLOYEES

GRANT OF HONORARIUM EQUIVALENT TO ONE MONTH BASIC PAY TO ALL WAPDA EMPLOYEES

As per Office Order/Notification the Authority has been please to accord approval to the grant honorarium @ one month basic pay to all Wapda employees as well as Wapda Foundation Employees, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitar 2014.
Grant of this honorarium will be regulated as under:-

a. It is admissible to all employees working on regular/contract/deputation/daily wages basic..

b. The length of service of the employees on the date of issue of this order is one year or more.

c. The daily wages employees must have originally appointed at least one year back from issuance of this order. They would be allowed honorarium @ equivalent to minimum of pay scale of their post.

d. The employees invovled in serious acts of misconduct viz embezzlement, fraud and unethical acts/gross misconduct etc are not entitled.

e. The employees on extra-ordinary leave or on deputation abroad or elsewhere are not eligible.

f. The Advisors, Consultants and others, engaged on lumpsum special pay packages are not entitled to the honorarium.

The additional budget for the relevant amount under Budget Estimate 2014-15 against the head of account "Honorarium" for each respective office also stands approved.

In pursuance of decision of Authority conveyed vide office memorandum No. D/DD(Rules)/07451/15/15699-15900 dated 29-08-2011, on the recommendations of the Selection Board constituted vide office order No. Dir(EDU)/801/770-74 dated 23-05-2014 competent authority is pleased to grant Time Scale up-gradation BPS-17 to the following Trained Graduate Teachers (BPS-16) with immediate effect and until further orders, in the interest of Authority's work.

Judgment:: Respondent No. 6 i.e. Chairman (BOD) National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDCL) shall treat this petition as a part of the revision already pendig before him. He shall hear the petitionery and all other concerned parties and decide the matter strictly in accordance with law keeping in view the precedents cited by the petitioner including the judgmens of the Hon'able Supreme Court of Pakistan. Let the aforesaid be done within 06 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

OPTION FOR GRANT OF CASH MEDICAL ALLOWANCE/MEDICAL FACILITY TO THE WAPDA PENSIONERS
Pakistan Water & Power Development Authority No. FO(B&F)/3-42/Vol-09/133-234 Dated: 09/01/2014
The Authority as a result of bipartite meeting with Labour Union(CBA), has been pleased to allow the pensioners to exercise their otpion for the medical facility or Cash Medical Allowance at the following rates:
(i) Pensioners who retired/will retire in BPS 1-15 @ 25% of Net Pension drawn.
(ii) Pensioners who retired/will retire in BPS 16-21 @ 20% of Net Pension drawn.
Conditions
= The Medical Allowance in respect of the above mentioned pensioners will be admissible at the level of net pension as on 30-06-2012.
= The Wapda employees retiring on or after 31-12-2013 shall be allowed Medical Allowance at the above mentioned rate of the net pension which shall remain frozen at the same level.
Procedure
Such option will be submitted to the Incharge of Pension Payment Office, who sill enter the amount of Medical Allowance on the PPO Book of the pensioner concerned.
The receipients of the said Cash Medical Allowance will however, be eligible to avail of Medical Facity at Wapda Hospital/Dispensaries as otherwise admissible to serving employees drawing Cash Medical Allowance. Further, the existing facility of re-imbursement of amount spent on account of purchase of medicines by the pensioners and local purchase of medicines by Wapda Hospital/Dispensaries for such outdoor patient will be discontinued.

GRANT OF ONE ADVANCE INCREMENT ON THE BASIS OF HIGHER QUALIFICATION

Notification No. FO(B&F)/10-126/AI/Vol-44/837-936 Dated: 9th Jan-2014
The Authority as a result of bipartie meeting with Labour Union (CBA), has decided to allow one advance increment to the employees in BPS-16 & below, who have possessed/acquired higher qualification over & above the prescribed qualification for the post mentioned in the relavant Service Rules, but only once in career.
