Computer Allowance

Review the Computer Allowance Policy with the present day requirements Finance Division is considering to review the “Computer Allowance” policy issued vide their earlier O.M. No. F.20(4)/R-5/90 Dated 25-08-1992 to cope with the present day requirements. As many new fields of Computer Sciences / IT have emerged and Computer Personnel are working in Govt. Offices with new job titles/designations, amendments in the policy have been proposed by many organizations. Some designations are requested by FPSC, are under consideration to be added in the eligible list of designation for Computer Allowance. Now Finance Division (Government of Pakistan) recently requested to all the Ministries/Division/Departments to furnish Financial Impact of the proposed addition in the list of eligible designations, applicable to their own Ministry/ Division/ Department, by 17-12-2012.
